Helpdesk TechnicianLocation: Troy, MIDuration: ContractKelly Technology is currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Technician to provide helpdesk support and resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate will be a tenured desktop support tech that can fix Outlook issues, printer issues, restart the server, manage Active Directory, and random IT needs in a manufacturing environment.Primary Duties:- Provide helpdesk support and resolve technical issues to the end user's satisfaction.- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to support request received through the IT helpdesk ticketing system.- Monitor service desk for open and unassigned tickets, making sure they are assigned to the appropriate queue and resolved based on priority.- Create, disable, and reset passwords for Active Directory accounts.- Add network printers, map network drives, install software on workstations.- Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation and/or phones.- Assist with creating documentation for end users and IT team.- Assist with onboarding of new users.- Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.- Report issues to the Systems Administrator or department manager for escalation.- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.- Ensure that the helpdesk services meet the set KPis and SLAs.Skills:- High school diploma or equivalent with two years of relevant technical experience.- Experience with iBM AS400 ERP Systems (nice to have)- Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite applications.- Knowledge and skills in troubleshooting.
