Merchandiser plays a key role in shaping how customers experience
our brand online. You’ll curate products and craft engaging digital
journeys that make online shopping effortless and inspiring across
multiple websites. This role blends creativity, strategy, and
analytics, bringing together design, data, and customer insight to
drive performance and growth. You’ll be part of a team that feels

Responsibilities Here are some examples of the actual work your day
would include. Own the customer journey mapping and on-site
experience, ensuring every page, from homepage to checkout, drives
engagement and conversion via desktop and mobile Analyze site and
product performance using tools like Google Analytics, heatmaps,
and A/B testing; generate reports and data-driven insights for
conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user experience Site
navigation/site search optimization (e.g., SearchSpring) and
product detail page optimization in partnership with the e-commerce
team Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to align site
content and product SEO strategies for maximum engagement Stay
current on industry trends, customer preferences, and the
competitor landscape to inform ongoing merchandising and site

be proficient in your job. We utilize an interactive combination of
hands-on and visual training to ensure everyone has a full
understanding of TPG, Inc.’s proactive approach to pond management.
Skill Set To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain
amount of knowledge and skills: Proficient in Google Analytics,
site dashboards, A/B split testing tools, and data analysis
Proficient in User Experience (UX/UI) and SEO best practices
Proficient with e-commerce platforms, CMS tools, and basic HTML for
formatting and site updates Able to balance multiple projects while
maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
Strategic mindset with the ability to plan long-term merchandising
improvements and growth initiatives This position requires manual
dexterity for typing, sitting at a desk, and looking at a computer
screen for extended periods of time. In addition, portions of the
position may require job shadowing and training, which includes
physical activity of lifting 25-35 pounds and standing for long
periods. We’re looking for a self-driven Ecommerce Site
Merchandiser eager to grow into a true expert. Someone who takes

precision and quality in every detail. You’ll thrive in a
fast-paced, hands-on environment where learning never stops and
initiative is valued. Beyond daily merchandising tasks, you’ll be
encouraged to think bigger, spotting opportunities, improving
systems, and adding lasting value across the organization.
Availability You must be available to work an 8-hour shift between
the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday – Friday, with the
occasional evening or Saturday for projects that must be done
outside of regular business hours. Remote Position Our E-commerce
Site Merchandiser role is a work-from-home position. However, there
are certain times our E-commerce Site Merchandiser role may be
required to come onsite, or report virtually, for training or other
employer-sponsored events that are during or outside your normal
work schedule. Remote employees must be able to meet the standards
of The Pond Guy’s telecommuting policy, which includes internet
speeds and workspace requirements. Compensation This is a full-time
