Modis is excited to share a--Help Desk Specialist--opportunity in a forward-thinking environment with a Fortune 500 company based in the Waterford, MI, area. This role is a long-term, open-ended contractual opportunity offering an outstanding work-life balance with competitive pay and a chance to learn and grow with the organization. At this time, anyone who applies must be able to work 2nd and 3rd shifts.--Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-user support for computer software and hardware errors
  • Instruct end-users and internal staff on how to use specific software, such as statistical, graphics, database, printing, word processing, programming languages, electronic mail, and operating systems
  • Answers questions, applying knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures
    Required Skills/Experience:
    • At least 1-year Help Desk or PC Technician experience
    • Must be familiar with basic Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • HDI, CompTIA A+, and MTA certifications are a bonus--
