Job Description Job Description Position: Warehouse Specialist Location: Clinton Township Shift: 2nd (Training on 1st shift) Position Summary The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and efficient operation of the warehouse, including shipping and receiving, inventory support, and physical distribution. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives, follows all safety practices, and assists production operations while ensuring compliance with company procedures, policies, and performance standards. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming materials and make proper determinations in accordance with established procedures and policies. Safely operate hi-lo equipment, forklifts, and pallet jacks in an accident-free manner. Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and efficient space utilization. Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and reconciliation of physical inventories. Pull, stage, and prepare products for shipment to customers and suppliers. Prepare and store boxed materials within the warehouse. Support production activities, including warehouse-related production tasks. Follow all specifications, departmental procedures, and safety requirements. Understand department goals and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts. Communicate effectively with all personnel and report job-related or employee-related issues to management. Work collaboratively with operators and support staff in a team environment. Support company culture, vision, and mission. Complete assigned tasks and special projects as directed. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of shipping and receiving experience. Forklift and material handling equipment experience. Basic computer proficiency. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels. Strong analytical skills and a positive attitude toward continuous learning. Physical Requirements Ability to work a standard 40-hour workweek with occasional overtime, including weekends as needed. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds. Visual capability with or without corrective lenses, including color differentiation and depth perception. Hearing ability sufficiently to respond to audible alarms up to 100 feet away.
