Summary:Under limited supervision, this position performs varied
administrative details and complex secretarial duties for one or
more persons in a department. Work generally requires the exercise
of judgment in making clerical/administrative decisions through the
use of computer and personal contact. Work also requires an ability
to deal with highly confidential information in a safe and
professional manner.Principal Accountabilities:1. Prepare
memorandums and documents outlining and explaining administrative
procedures and policies to supervisory workers and employees. Often
involves dealing with highly-confidential information.2. Maintains
and administers to electronic system for employment functions
including, but not limited to, orientation scheduling, drug
screens, P.O.P.P.S. sessions, interview schedules, and related
duties.3. Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches
appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employers.4.
May take dictation in shorthand/speedwriting and or by machine and
transcribes notes in typewriter or computer or transcribes from
voice recordings.5. Composes and types correspondence and files
correspondence and other records as required.6. Answers telephone,
gives information to callers, routes calls to appropriate officials
and/or places outgoing calls.7. Prepares and acts as liaison
contact for unemployment information by providing requested support
for third party administrator for hearings and data elements
requests.8. Coordinate travel and accommodations as required with
Corporate Travel as directed by Manager.9. Provides administrative
support for various employee relations activities, i.e. Dollars for
Doers, United Way, and plant projects.10. Compiles and types
statistical reports.11. Records minutes of meetings as requested,
greets visitors, ascertains nature of business and directs visitor
to appropriate contact. Copies correspondence or other printed
matter as required.12. Other duties may be assigned as needed.Job
Specifications One year certificate from college or technical
school; or one year related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to
apply good judgment in carrying out instructions furnished in
written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems
involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.TO

pay depends on work location and additional factors such as
experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
