Job Description:
Aramark is seeking a diligent and dedicated Food Prep Worker to
join our team in the Food & Beverage Operations department. This
position plays a pivotal role in our commitment to delivering
exceptional dining experiences at various institutions, including
universities, schools, and hospitals. The ideal candidate will
assist in preparing meals that meet our high standards of quality
and hygiene, ensuring our service excellence and client
satisfaction. Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, marinating,
and seasoning foods. Assist chefs and cooks in the preparation of
different foods in the kitchen. Ensure all food and other items are
stored properly. Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
Perform preliminary food checks and finalize food items prior to
serving. Maintain a clean and safe workstation at all times.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to manage food supplies and
product inventory. Adhere to food safety and handling policies and
procedures across all food production. Basic understanding of food
preparation and kitchen equipment. Knowledge of health and safety
rules in a kitchen. Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Good communication and organizational skills. Physically capable of
standing for long periods and handling heavy kitchen equipment.
Food Handler's Certificate is a plus but not required.
