Job DescriptionWe are a successful, independently owned AAA / Meemic Insurance Agency seeking motivated Insurance Sales Agents to generate new sales, retain existing members and help continue to grow our overall book of business through our multiple product offerings.   • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
  • Document each customer contact in the system.
  • Take premium payments from customers.
  • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
  • Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practicesRequirements
    • A Property & Casualty License is Required.
    • 1+ Years of Insurance CSR or Producer Experience.
    • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
    • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
    • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
    • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
    • Professional phone etiquette.
    • Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
    • Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills.
    • Great Customer Service Skills.
    • Problem-Solving Capabilities.
    • Be capable of handling customer rejection.
