Locums - Flint, Michigan, NP/PA General Surgery Opening

Location: Flint, Michigan

Coverage Dates: June 30, 2026 - December 31, 2026

Reason for Coverage

Practice Setting

• Hospital call coverage
• Overnight inpatient trauma call
• Trauma Surgeons available on call from home

Schedule

• 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM onsite
• Night coverage only

Patient Volume

• 15-20 patients per shift

Support Staff

• Trauma Surgeons on call from home

Procedures and Skills Required

• Adult General Surgery cases
• Trauma Surgery cases
• Central Line Insertion
• Chest Tube Insertion
• Vascular Access Device placement

EMR

• Cerner

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
• Active Michigan license required
• Local candidate required
• DEA required (verbal confirmation accepted)
• COVID vaccination required
