Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating - 4 days x 11 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Sleep Technologist Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Detroit, MI (onsite) Contract Duration: Contract until 07/04/2026 Work Hours: 730PM-630AM Total Weekly Hours: 40 GENERAL SUMMARY: Oversee and perform complex procedures and therapeutic interventions, including CPAP and BiPAP titrationsAssist technicians in troubleshooting during challenging data acquisition to ensure high-quality sleep studies (PSGs)Score and tabulate sleep recordings based on established guidelines (sleep stages, respiratory events, limb movements, etc.)Generate detailed reports and performance summaries for physician interpretationMaintain compliance with BRPT Standards of Conduct null Skills: Strong knowledge of HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines for Sleep Reliability scoringRegistration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through BRPTBCLS Certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support) null Education: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED High school diploma or G.E.D. required.Bachelors degree with some scientific coursework preferred.Able to score Sleep Reliability by HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines, required CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians (BRPT) required.BCLS Certification. null Schedule Notes: Requirements: Candidate MUST be registered Candidate must have BLS Prefers candidate with experience working with children. will work with patients starting at 5 years of age Candidate will receive on the job training with Epic SCHEDULE 4- days a week, 10- hour shift 730pm - 630am
