Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Battle Creek, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,308 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Battle Creek, Michigan, 49017! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid Michigan license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM preferred AWHONN Advanced Must-Have: OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor & Delivery experience No time off requests for the first two weeks of the contract Description: Start date is preferred for 03/23. Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines for staffing. Will work in all areas of LDRP. Circulate, FHM Triage skills are required. Will float to the house as a sitter when needed. Will float to an alternate facility when the need arises and census allows. No call requirements. EMR used is EPIC. Unit consists of 15 beds with 3 triage bays and 2 operating rooms. Registered Nurses provide antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub nurse, newborn nurse at delivery, and couplet care. Nurses perform lab draws and hearing screens on newborns. Scrubs are provided. Training will include completing newborn hearing screens using the Algo 5 Machine. Weekend coverage is required; will work every other weekend. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy. Patient demographics range from neonates to adults.
