4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with
Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Battle Creek,
Michigan, 49017! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered
Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day
3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required,
preference for 2 years in Med/Surg License: Valid RN License
required (pending license okay, must provide ETA) Certifications:
BLS (AHA), will accept pending Must-Have: Must be available the
first two weeks of orientation Description: Candidates must float
to other Medical Surgical units. Work every other weekend is
required. Must be willing to work with a variety of staff members.
The unit cares for a wide variety of patient types, including
general medical diagnosis patients. Specialty areas include
gastrointestinal, urological, and gynecological surgeries. Expect
to care for a mix of medical and surgical patients. Patient ratio
during the day typically runs 1:4-5, and up to 1:7 if working with
LPNs. Staff will include RNs, LPNs, and technicians. Floating to
different units may occur roughly once per week. All lab work
should be completed within 48-72 hours of signing the contract.
Proof of flu vaccination must be included with submissions. If
seeking vaccination exemption, it must be submitted within 48 hours
of signing the contract. Modules are non-billable and must be
completed during orientation and annually. References are required.
