Location: Mount Clemens, MI 48043 (Michigan travel nurse job)/n -
Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) — LTAC nurse / long-term acute
care nursing/n - Assignment Type: Travel RN assignment/n - Start
Date: March 23, 2026/n - Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shifts: 3 x 12-hour
day shifts per week (36 hours/week)/n - Openings: 2 Travel RN
positions/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1710-$1800/week/n
/n/nRequired Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license (state-specific license required prior to start)/n - BLS
Certification (required prior to first shift)/n - ACLS
Certification (required prior to first shift)/n - Minimum 2 years
of bedside clinical experience (1 year ICU experience preferred)/n
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills for
supervising ancillary staff/n - Preferred: experience with
ventilator management, tracheostomy care, wound care, and
rehabilitation/complex care in LTAC or ICU settings/n /n/nKey
Responsibilities/n /n - Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop
individualized care plans/n - Deliver high-quality,
patient-centered care for medically complex LTAC patients and
maintain clinical competency/n - Supervise Licensed Practical
Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees;
provide direction and training to ancillary nursing personnel/n -
Participate in interdisciplinary patient rehabilitation programs
and collaborate with therapy, respiratory, and physician teams/n -
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
accurately and promptly in the medical record/n - Initiate
discharge planning and patient/family teaching starting at
admission/n - Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to
hospital policies, infection control, and safety procedures/n -
Maintain open communication with unit leadership about patient
status, staffing needs, and unit performance/n - Contribute to a
positive, efficient work environment through teamwork, professional
development, and quality improvement initiatives/n - Provide care
for medically complex patients, including ventilator and
