Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OB Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Surgical Technologist – Labor & Delivery Unit Location: Rochester, MI 48307 Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 5x8-Hour Nights Hours per Week: 36–40 Hours Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements Requirements: /t - /t Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience /t /t - /t Must have Labor & Delivery experience /t /t - /t CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) required /t /t - /t Current BLS certification required /t /t - /t High school diploma or GED required /t Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgical Team, the Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field, handling surgical instruments, and assisting during procedures in the Labor & Delivery unit. The candidate must anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
