Roles & Responsibilities Set up and calibrate radiographic and cine equipment prior to angiographic and interventional procedures to ensure optimal imaging Process and perform quality control checks on cine radiographic images to support accurate diagnostics Prepare patients and sterile fields, assist with sterile tray setup, and provide post-cath care for smooth procedural flow Manipulate radiographic generator settings and other imaging parameters to achieve the best possible image quality Operate hemodynamic and monitoring equipment — cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation devices, pacemaker tools — and perform physiologic studies Assist physicians and interdisciplinary cath lab staff to maintain an efficient, timely schedule and high standard of care Maintain room cleanliness and turnover so the lab is always ready for the next case Qualifications Interventional Radiology experience — REQUIRED Neuro interventional experience — REQUIRED Active Michigan license (LARA/Nursys) showing Active Michigan/MI — REQUIRED Active ARRT certification — REQUIRED Active American Heart Association BLS — REQUIRED Complete and up-to-date work history and a skills checklist current to 1 year (Cath Lab specialty) — REQUIRED Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years — REQUIRED Candidates must provide permanent address outside the facility’s 50-mile restricted radius (facility will not consider local candidates) Knowledge & Skills Angiographic procedures and cath lab support Cine radiographic image processing and quality control Radiographic generator technique and image optimization Patient preparation, sterile technique, and post-procedure care Hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac output measurement, and oxygen saturation studies Experience operating pacemaker equipment and other cardiac devices Strong teamwork, communication, and facility-focused workflow skills Benefits Supportive team environment that values your expertise and growth Licensure assistance & reimbursement guidance to keep certifications current Professional development opportunities and hands-on cath lab experience Paid time off to recharge and maintain work-life balance Comprehensive onboarding with dedicated clinical support Travel assignment perks like local housing resources and relocation support Flexible scheduling conversations at submission—facility requires schedule requests up front A meaningful role where your imaging and procedural skills directly impact patient outcomes Travel Perks: Explore Saginaw, MI Saginaw is a great home base for a travel assignment — explore the Saginaw Riverwalk and downtown riverfront, visit the Castle Museum of Saginaw County History and the Saginaw Art Museum for local culture, catch events at the Dow Event Center, and enjoy easy day trips to Frankenmuth (famous for Bavarian charm and Bronner's Christmas Wonderland) or Bay City for waterfront dining and trails.
