2/17/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of
experience required. License: State license required by start date.
Certifications: - BCLS required. - EPIC charting experience
required. - Travel experience required. - Telemetry experience
required. Must-Have: - Interpretation and management of
dysrhythmias experience. - Weekend availability - 3 weekends per
4-week schedule. Description: Position available for a Registered
Nurse specializing in Step Down care. Ratios are 1:4-6 patients.
Candidates accepted who are new to this specialty. Must float
within the scope to meet facility needs. Expected to work a block
schedule. Strong preference for candidates with additional
certifications such as ACLS, CPI, and NIH. Experience in ventilator
management and conscious sedation is preferred. This role requires
management and monitoring of various patient conditions including
pre and post-operative care for cardiac procedures, telemetry,
trauma, oncology, and orthopedic conditions. Responsibilities
include the management of vasoactive drips, interpretation of
dysrhythmias, and providing care for patients with complex medical
needs. Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams including
IV teams, respiratory services, and social services will be
essential. Candidates must complete all documentation requirements
prior to start. The position requires the ability to adhere to
strict compliance expectations and policies. Proof of high school
