Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist for a local contract job in Waterford, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 52 weeks - 38 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist to join our educational team. This position is available to start as soon as possible. The Speech and Language Pathologist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing services to students identified with speech and language impairments. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments aligned with MARSE and ASHA guidelines; providing direct services in expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language; documenting student progress; collaborating with parents and educational team members; and completing required Medicaid billing. Qualifications include: - Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology - Valid full Michigan license in Speech and Language Pathology - Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or ASHA Certification Fellow (CF) - Strong understanding of standardized and informal assessment strategies - Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations The Speech and Language Pathologist will work collaboratively with building administrators and student support services to ensure high-quality programming and student success.
