There are approximately 35,000 visits annually. We care for a variety of patients of all ages who are acute or chronically ill; approximately 30% of patient arrivals are via ambulance.Scope of workUnder the direction of the nurse manager or other nursing leader, the assistant nurse manager has responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the nursing department and their effect on patient care in the department.Qualifications

• Effective June 1, 2025, Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) Required.
• Two years of relevant clinical (emergency/critical care) experience Required.
• Three - Five years of emergency medicine experience is Preferred.
• Participation in leadership activities (Unit, hospital, or system Shared Governance meetings, Precepting, or Charge nurse role) Preferred.
• MI RN license Required.
