Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support
an elementary school setting in Detroit, MI. This onsite role
involves working with a caseload of approximately 25 students in an
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) environment, providing targeted
speech and language interventions to enhance communication skills
and educational outcomes. Responsibilities include: - Conducting
comprehensive speech and language assessments for students within
an elementary ASD setting - Designing and implementing
individualized therapy plans tailored to each students unique needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to
integrate speech goals within classroom activities - Maintaining
detailed documentation of student progress and providing regular
updates - Participating in team meetings and contributing to the
development of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
Qualifications: - Must hold an active SLP license - Possession of
full Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language
Pathology - Experience providing services within an elementary
school and ASD setting preferred - Strong communication and
interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, families,
and school staff Position Details: - Location: Detroit, MI
(Elementary School) - Schedule: Part-time, 22 hours per week (3
days on site) - Contract duration: ASAP through June 11, 2026 This
