Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s degree in Physical
Education, Kinesiology, or a related field, Adapted Physical
Education (APE) certification, and 1 years Adaptive PE Teacher
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-semester position is
available for an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher to work with
elementary school students. This role focuses on delivering
specialized physical education tailored to meet the needs of
diverse learners in a school setting. Location: Ypsilanti, MI
Employment Type: Contract, Full Time Start Date: ASAP - June 5,
2026 Caseload: Elementary School students Key Responsibilities: -
Develop and implement adaptive physical education programs to
support students with varied abilities - Assess individual student
needs and modify activities accordingly - Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and therapists to facilitate student growth and
inclusion - Maintain accurate records of student progress and
program effectiveness Qualifications: - Active Michigan teaching
certificate in Adaptive Physical Education or related field -
Bachelors degree with required certification - Experience working
with elementary-aged students preferred - Ability to create
