**NEW ADDITIONAL ANNUAL STIPEND - $3,500**

Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
  • Special Education Endorsement
  • Early Childhood (ZA or ZS)
    Responsibilities:
    • Provide services to families and children from birth to age 3: service coordination, direct services Primary Service Provider Model) and collaborative consultation with staff, parents, agency personnel, and administrators
    • Provide direct instruction/ early intervention for certified students in their natural environment
    • Assist families in understanding the child's development. Support the family by relating this information to the needs of the child, and by providing strategies and resources to assist the family in addressing the child's needs
    • Provide home visits (natural environment) 2x per week to the child and family providing support and developmental guidance
    • Makes referrals to and coordinates with appropriate community resources and existing at-risk/special needs services to assist and support child and family needs
    • Proficient in facilitating, writing and implementing IFSP's
    • Remain in compliance with all State and Federal rules and regulations that govern Special Education
    • Work as part of a team with the all Early Childhood service providers
    • Facilitate transition planning and activities identified by the IFSP for the child and family as they exit Early On by age three or as their program and service needs change
    • Collect accurate on-going data on student performance
    • Demonstrate responsiveness to each family's culture, preferences, resources and priorities

      Building Principal and Executive Director of Student Support Services

      Per WEA Master Agreement
